Mepps spinner kits are designed for targeting a wide range of freshwater and saltwater predators, including Trout, Pike, Perch, Zander, Bass, Pollock and many more. Available in four options; Trout, Perch, Pike and Predator - each kit is curated with a focus on its named species, while still offering versatile lure choices that can be used across multiple predator species. The Predator kit provides a more general selection, ideal for anglers targeting a broader range of fish.
Every kit contains a carefully selected assortment of Mepps spinners, featuring proven patterns such as Aglia, Comet, Winner, Lusox and XD, giving anglers the flexibility to adapt to different conditions. A breakdown of included lures can be found in the table below.
Lure size is important
The rule of thumb is; use smaller lures to catch smaller fish, and larger lures to catch larger fish. Keep in mind plain spinners present a smaller profile than dressed spinners, so they will appear smaller to the fish.
Fishing with dressed spinners can produce larger fish, but, when stream trout fishing, you will probably catch more fish using plain spinners.
