The 2" Gulp! Sandworm is an essential item in any tacklebox. You can use it light-weighted or with a 1/6oz jig head. Live worms are a great bait in any European country, but the Sandworm is deadly on a wide variety of estuary and inshore species, and a whole lot easier to keep. They can be fished against structure, such as boats and pylons. Its slowly sinking, wriggling action will entice most fish to have a go at it. Slowly-worked Sandworms over sand flats and weed beds have accounted for many wrasse, bream, flatfish and other species. A great idea is to keep a packet in your vehicle, in case you can't get any worms. This way you will always be ready to fish.
